Bringing Healing and Hope to Micronesia

Our vision is to bring healing and hope to the people in Micronesia. Due to various circumstances, many of these people have little to no hope in their lives, and we want to share the Good News of Jesus with them, so they can also know the HOPE we have in Christ. The suicide rate is highest among those in their early 20s! They truly need to hear the wonderful, life-giving news that was graciously shared with us. Patti wants to use her medical knowledge and I want to serve the people so that their hearts will be open to the message, and so that churches can be planted and the Word can be preached. We will be working alongside a veteran missionary in the areas of medical care and health education, and in community development, such as clean water solutions, after school youth program, or any other way that can enrich the community. Eventually, we would like to be able to expand the Church by building medical clinics in places there are none currently. Patti has long had a vision to deliver babies in remote areas.
Our plan is to go as soon as we have 100% funding and required training completed. We will serve an initial 2 year term focused on learning language, culture and our new ministry context, and then see how God leads us from there forward.
